Jeremy didn’t score a lot tonight because his team didn’t need it. Instead, he focused on setting his teammates up, resulting in a career-high 13 assists, a healthy number of which were alley-oops. With the blowout of the Kings (100-85), the Knicks stretched their win streak to 7 games.

Fresh off winning the Eastern Conference Player of the Week award, Jeremy will be on the cover of the new issue of Sports Illustrated this week. Not too shabby for a guy who, a week ago, was sleeping on his brother’s couch.

That’s right, through his first 4 starts, Jeremy has scored more points than any other player since the ABA and NBA merged. More points than Allen Iverson, Shaquille O’Neal or Michael Jordan scored in their debuts.
For his epic recent performance, he was just named Eastern Conference Player of the Week for the week of February 6th to February 12th. Congrats!
